Chromeo is a Montreal-based electrofunk duo that uses keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines and guitar to create a signature disco-influenced electropop sound that has helped rise the group to prominence. The duo--comprised of David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel--were childhood friends before they decided to start a band and though it was somewhat of an underground sensation for a period of time, the group managed to achieved a break into the mainstream with its 2007 LP, Fancy Footwork.

    »Arsenic and Old Lace

    October 31, 2014 8:00 PM

When arriving home to share the happy news of your engagement, the last thing you want to discover is that your family has gone completely crazy. But that's exactly what theater critic Mortimer Brewster finds when he returns home. One uncle thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt at the Panama Canal, another uncle's been transformed by plastic surgery into a Boris Karloff-style monster, and his spinster aunts have taken to poisoning lonely men and burying them in their basement. In this hilarious dark comedy, originally written for the stage in 1939 and later made into a beloved Frank Capra film starring Cary Grant, poor Brewster has to juggle his pre-marriage jitters with family antics and meddling police.
